Nepal Introduction

Nepal is a landlocked country between the Asian Giants India and China. She occupies 147,181sq.km of the surface of the Earth and is rectangular in shape. Nepal carries long history of civilization, culture, tradition, politics and heritage. Its early History rested in legend and myths.However; it was definitely inhabited long before 7 or 8 BC. from where starts the political history of the country.

Nepal has the sub-tropical climate .But the climatic conditions vary considerably form place to place. To be so the country has the varied altitude like from less than 100m.upto more than 8000m.and the slope and the direction of the mountains also affect the climate. Nepal has the population of approx. 23 million according to the census 2002 comprises of different races and origins. Due to its extreme variance in climate and geography, the people of Nepal are adoptable to all types of climate extreme or moderate. They are hard working. The brave Gurkhas are from the midhill region. The majority of the Nepalese People are engaged in Agriculture. Tourism and Foreign employment is another source of National income of Nepal.
